NAI Global Honors Dan Boyles, Jr. of NAI Houston with 2010 Deal of the Year

NAI Global, the world’s premier network of commercial real estate brokerage firms and one of the largest real estate services providers worldwide, recognized Dan Boyles, Jr., Principal of NAI Houston, with the Deal of the Year Award at the 2011 Convention.
Boyles, based in Houston, Texas, won Deal of the Year for brokering the disposition of the San Jose Medical Center in San Jose, California. Boyles arranged the sale of HCA’s 583,268 SF facility to the County of Santa Clara with an NAI affiliate in the region. The Deal of the Year award is based on a combination of factors, including the size of the transaction, its strategic importance and the broker’s performance in satisfying the client’s objectives.
The award was presented in a ceremony on February 9 at the NAI Global 2011 Convention in Las Vegas. Based in Princeton, New Jersey, NAI Global manages a network of 5,000 professionals and 350 offices in 55 countries. NAI professionals complete over $45 billion in transactions annually.
NAI Global Honors J. Michael Mooney of NAI MLG with Lifetime Achievement Award

NAI Global, the premier network of commercial real estate firms and one of the largest real estate services providers worldwide, honored J. Michael Mooney, Chairman of NAI MLG Commercial of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, with the Gerald C. Finn Lifetime Achievement Award in recognition of his years of dedication and service to the NAI Global network.
Mooney has been active in the NAI Global network for more than 20 years and served as chairman of the NAI Members’ Leadership Board during 2000-2001, a key period in the organization’s history.
“Mike is a leader and visionary who has always been close by to provide solid advice and wisdom,” stated NAI Global President & CEO Jeffrey M. Finn. “His strong, subtle leadership during a critical time of transition served to galvanize the organization and accelerate our growth. We appreciate his many contributions to the NAI organization over the past two decades and look forward to his continued support and guidance.”

NAI Global Executives and Agents From Around the Globe Volunteer with Habitat for Humanity

More than 25 volunteers from NAI Global, NAI Las Vegas and NAI member firms around the world volunteered to assist in building a home just outside of Las Vegas at 1325 Miller Avenue, off North Martin Luther King Boulevard and West Carey Avenue. An initiative spearheaded by NAI Cares, NAI Global’s charitable arm, the home build event included NAI Global executive leadership and brokers from as far away as Germany and Chile.
“NAI Cares is dedicated to helping people realize success over hardship, and we are thrilled for this opportunity to work with an organization that helps people fulfill their dreams,” said Jeffrey M. Finn, NAI Global President & CEO. “We are honored to work alongside the dedicated professionals from Habitat for Humanity in building this home and helping someone transform their lives.”
NAI Cares, as well as several sponsors, member firms and NAI Global, raised a $5,000 donation in support of Habitat for Humanity’s efforts to build a home for a family in the Las Vegas community. The team of NAI volunteers, taking time away from the organization’s annual convention, convened at the build site and spent time building sidewalks for entrance to the homes, repairing fencing, installing insulation and preparing homes for drywall. Guy Amato, President & CEO of Habitat for Humanity Las Vegas was on hand to meet the NAI volunteers.
NAI Global Launches Suite of Green/Sustainability Services

NAI Global recently launched a comprehensive suite of “green” services for property owners under the NAI Global Sustainability Services umbrella. A component of this new service offering is a strategic alliance between NAI Global and GreenPoint Partners to provide energy & sustainability services to property owners and users. Working together with local NAI offices in North America, GreenPoint helps clients achieve profitable sustainability by delivering energy audits, solar and wind renewable energy, efficiency retrofits and LEED certification.
Other services under the NAI Global Sustainability Services umbrella include Optm, an initiative that brings NAI Global together with world renowned architectural firm Gensler and “Green” Guru John Picard to create a platform to transact “Green” buildings or undertake programs to create value by “greening” buildings and campuses.
We also have formed a strategic alliance with Environmental Resources Management (ERM) to provide environmental due diligence, site investigation and remediation services to support clients around the world.
NAI Global Honors David Blanchard with Lifetime Achievement Award

NAI Global, the premier network of commercial real estate firms and one of the largest real estate services providers worldwide, honored David C. Blanchard, Executive Vice President, with the Gerald C. Finn Lifetime Achievement Award in recognition of his years of dedication and service to the NAI Global network.
Blanchard joined NAI Global in 1985 in a corporate services/business development role and has played a leadership role in building NAI’s U.S. network during his 25-year career. He currently leads the company’s Member Services team and primarily focuses on member development, orientation and training.
Blanchard’s contributions are not limited to NAI. He also serves as an Instructor for the Society of Industrial and Office Realtors (SIOR), a prestigious group of office and industrial brokers who serve their clients throughout the world, and was honored with SIOR’s coveted “Instructor of the Year” award for 2008 and again in 2009.
“David’s unique ability to touch and inspire people has been critical to our growth and success,” stated NAI Global President & CEO Jeffrey M. Finn. “He is special person and we are so glad we have had the great fortune to have him on our team. No individual has played a more vital role in fueling our growth, building our culture and helping us to realize our success.”
