NAI Capital Purchased and Leased a $15.2M Industrial Deal in Ontario, CA

ONTARIO, CA — NAI Capital industrial specialists Philip T. Attalla and Richard Horn with the Commerce office represented the Buyer, CenterPoint Properties, a Real Estate Asset Management Company owned by CalPERS and based in Chicago, Illinois, in the purchase of a State of the Art, 106,055 SF, Food Grade industrial building located at 2539 East Philadelphia Avenue, Ontario, CA from the Seller, Legacy Property Management LLC. In conjunction with the sale, Attalla and Horn also represented the Tenant, Passport Food Group LLC, in the long term lease of the property from the Landlord, Centerpoint Properties. The value of the sales transaction was $8.5M, the length of the lease was 10 years and the value of the lease transaction was over $6.7M; the combined value was approximately $15.2M. The Buyer purchased the property to relocate Passport Food Group, a food manufacturing company, from Los Angeles to Ontario. More >
