John Sheahan, Jr., SIOR of NAI DESCO recently completed the purchase of a 61,259 square foot industrial building at 2345-49 Chaffee Dr, Maryland Heights, on behalf of the purchaser, DAW Real Estate, LLC. The building was purchased by an owner/user who will occupy half of the building for their engineered lubricant company while leasing the remaining portion. The seller was the Phoenix Learning Group, Inc.
Congratulations to John Sheahan, Jr., SIOR and Floyd Sweeney, SIOR, MCR of NAI DESCO for assisting the landlord and tenant respectively in the lease of a 21,036 square foot industrial building at 106-108 N. Cool Springs Rd in O’Fallon, Mo. The new tenant, the Fieldhouse Training Center, will feature indoor batting and pitching facilities for aspiring baseball stars. The landlord was MP Industries, Inc.
John Sheahan, Jr., SIOR of NAI DESCO successfully represented H&H Health Associates in their lease of 4,838 square feet of office space at the Laumeier Office Park. The new headquarters of H&H Health Associates will be at 3660 S. Geyer Rd, Suite 100 in Sunset Hills, Mo. The company provides Workplace Wellness and Employee Assistance Program Services to their clients. Bluerock Property Management, Inc. is the landlord.
John Sheahan, Jr., SIOR of NAI DESCO recently completed the lease of a 12,500 square foot industrial building located at 605 Arrow Lane, O’Fallon, Mo on behalf of the tenant, MAC Sales, LLC. The new tenant will host monthly dealer to dealer auctions at the facility. In addition, they will use the space to store merchandise, primarily RVs, boats and construction equipment, between auctions. The landlord was Partners Group, LLC.
Kevin McKeon, CCIM of NAI DESCO recently assisted Miami Valley Paper Tube Company in the sublease of 29,962 square feet of industrial space at 2303 Chaffee Dr in Maryland Heights, Mo. The company, which distributes products for the printing industry, subleased the space from Pomeroy IT Solutions Sales Company, represented by John Sheahan, Jr., SIOR also of NAI DESCO.

As evidenced by data from the Federal Reserve’s October 2010 Burgundy Book, the St. Louis market area has experienced a small but steady increase in economic activity through the latter portion of the year. The St. Louis area is aided in this respect by its diversification in sectors such as bioscience, information technology, financial services, transportation/distribution and high-tech manufacturing. Local market indicators mirror an overall national trend towards improvement in these areas.
Congratulations to John Sheahan Jr, SIOR and Terry O’Connell of NAI DESCO who successfully completed a transaction on behalf of the landlord, Landmark Enterprises Ltd, in the lease of 4,000 square feet of industrial space at 12935 Gravois, Suite A, in St. Louis. The space was leased to the Flood Team, a 24-hour water clean-up and drying service.
