You’re Invited to LES’ Energy Forum on September 21st
You are invited to learn more about the many benefits of building automation systems at LES’ Smart Energy Forum set for 8-9:30am on Wednesday, September 21st.
A building automation system (BAS) is a computerized, intelligent network of electronic devices that can be designed to monitor and control heating, cooling, ventilation, lighting, pumping and other energy-consuming items within a building.
Presenting will be Kirk Conger, a mechancial engineer who has 26-years of experience in the energy industry. He currently works at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln Facilties Department focusing on energy-efficiency projects and building controls. Conger will present an overview of two UNL projects that resulted in significant reductions in energy use. He will discuss how and why the projects were a success.
Scott Bahm of NAI FMA Realty and Jim Hines of Beran Fundamental Church of Lincoln will also share their experiences with building automation systems.
