Great Western Bank has pulled a permit to build a branch on the NWC of 84th & Old Cheney Road.
George Witt Service, Inc. completed a lease renewal for 3321 N. 35th Street. Sally DeLair, NAI FMA, represented the landlord.

Blue Ox Expanding Warehouse

Blue Ox, who is known for its towing products, are expanding their local warehousing into 40,000 square feet at 4021 N. 27th Street.

Blue Ox, headquartered in Pender, Nebraska, opened the Lincoln engineering facility in 2010 at 23rd & Fairfield to focus efforts on the design of new products and improvements to the company’s existing product line of towing products, hitches, braking systems, steering controls, carriers and fifth-wheel accessories. Blue Ox maintains its manufacturing and product support at its Pender facility.

Rumors have spread like wild fire again about Chick-fil-A going to SouthPointe. Those rumors were laid to rest by the General Manager of the mall who said not at this time.

Former Kmart Building Gets New Lease on Life

The former Kmart building in Edgewood is on its way to a new beginning. The new owners, who purchased the building back in early May, plan to upgrade the facade along with its landscaping. The north 29,000 sf will be renovated for Gallup to consolidate some of its local operations to. Rod Kush’s 7-Day Furniture will remain with appoximately up to 32,000 sf in the south half available for lease. Click here to read the Journal Star article. Be sure to check back for more updates!

Rathbone Village Welcomes New Tenants

We are pleased to announce that Blooms and Bouquets and the Lincoln Yoga Center are joining the shops at Rathbone Village.

Blooms and Bouquets is open and specializes in wedding floral. Melissa Ryks-Schock, head designer, has enjoyed being involved in the floral business since she was 14. Visit Melissa for your wedding plans at 2129 Winthrop Road, Suite 6 or call her at 730-2640.

The Lincoln Yoga Center is scheduled to open July 5th. Sheila Palmquist is the owner and operater. She has been a yoga instructor for 10 years and worked at LifePointe over the past year. Be sure to visit her open house on July 5th from 10-7pm at 2127 Winthrop Road!

DuTeau Expanding Presence in Southwest Lincoln

DuTeau Chevrolet has recently purchased land located near S. 28th Street and Jamie Lane (just east of Las Margaritas) with plans to move their Subaru division to this site. Timing for the move hasn’t been determined. George Hancock represented DuTeau Chevrolet and Richard Meginnis and Sally DeLair represented the separate owners on the two parcels DuTeau purchased.

First State Bank Closes on S. 27th Street Land

First State Bank recently purchased 3.2 Acres at S. 27th Street and Grainger Parkway (just north of Las Margaritas) where they plan to build a bank branch and administrative headquarters. First State Bank has three other Lincoln locations along with eight branches and one loan office in surrounding towns. Richard Meginnis represented First State Bank and Sally DeLair represented the owners, Stone Ledge Village LLC in this transaction. Look for another announcement regarding this area soon!

Family Health Services, Inc. Opens at 630 N. Cotner

Family Health Services, Inc. has opened a 2,225 SF Lincoln office at 630 N. Cotner Blvd. They provide public health services to residents of southeast Nebraska. Chris Vasek and Marc Snow assisted the landlord while Sally DeLair represented Family Health Services, Inc.
