Adventist Health has purchased the 10,550 sf Fisher’s Landing Medical Building, 417 SE 164th Avenue, for $2.38 million. NAI Norris, Beggs & Simpson Vice President Tamara Fuller, CCIM, and Associate Vice President Pam Lindloff represented the seller, Allergy, Asthma and Dermatology Associates (AADA). The $2.01 million sale of the former Vancouver City Hall in downtown Vancouver to Northwest Property Resources, LLC closed on April 15. NAI Norris, Beggs & Simpson Principal, Director of Vancouver Production Charlie Kleier and Associate Vice President Doug Bartocci represented the seller, Vancouver Public Schools. When the Shoe Fits, a locally-owned comfort shoe retailer with three locations in Vancouver, is opening its first store outside of Vancouver at Progress Ridge TownSquare in Beaverton.

NAI NBS Adds Retail Broker Burgner to Vancouver Office

NAI NBS has welcomed Real Estate Broker Brooke Burgner, who specializes in retail leasing and sales in Southwest Washington, to its Vancouver office.
Burgner’s background is in university admissions. Most recently, she was a Senior Colorado Regional Recruiter for the University of Arizona, based out of Boulder, where she coordinated and executed state-wide recruitment and marketing plans.
Burgner earned a degree in communication from the University of Colorado at Boulder. She is a licensed real estate broker in Washington and Oregon.

Kleier Taking Over Management of NAI Norris, Beggs & Simpson’s Vancouver Office

NAI Norris, Beggs & Simpson’s Charlie Kleier, a longtime Vancouver investment broker and partner in the company, is taking over management of the company’s Vancouver office. His new title is Principal, Director of Vancouver Production.
Kleier is an investment broker who has been with NAI NBS since 1989. In addition to his new role and duties, he will continue to be active in brokerage production. He became a partner in Norris, Beggs & Simpson Companies in 2004. More >
Downtown Vancouver’s B of A Financial Center Gains Four New Tenants in Nearly 30K SF

Downtown Vancouver’s Bank of America Financial Center, Clark County’s largest Class A office tower, has seen a flurry of leasing activity, gaining four new tenants in a total of nearly 30,000 sf.
NAI NBS’ Tamara Fuller and Doug Bartocci represented the building’s owner, the Schlesinger Companies, in the following transactions:
-General Services Administration (GSA) – 14,750 sf. Tenant represented by Jones Lang LaSalle.
-CW Capital – 7,265 sf. Tenant represented by Craig Reinhart and Paul Giannopulos, CresaPartners.
-Occuscreen – 3,375 sf. Tenant represented by Doug Bartocci, NAI NBS.
-Wells Fargo Advisors – 3,492 sf. Tenant represented by Eric Turner, CresaPartners.

Vancouver Radiologists Will Relocate 87th Avenue Clinic to Vancouver Village as it Celebrates 40th Anniversary

Vancouver Radiologists, which provides a full spectrum of professional diagnostic imaging services to the southwest Washington community, has signed a 9,434 sf lease at Vancouver Village Shopping Center. The practice will relocate its clinic from the Medical Center Physicians Building, 505 NE 87th Avenue, to the new location in mid-July, with a grand opening planned in early August. More >
Leadership Transition at NAI NBS

NAI Norris, Beggs & Simpson is ushering in a new era in its leadership, including its first female CEO.
Jan Robertson is the new CEO of NBS Companies, the umbrella company that includes NAI NBS and three other divisions, while J. Clayton Hering (previously President) is Chairman of the Board. Chris Johnson, one of Portland’s top investment and office leasing brokers and a longtime partner in NBS Companies, is now President of NAI NBS.
Robertson’s career path has been unique. She joined NBS in 1981 in an administrative position, and quickly rose into management, becoming a partner in 1993. She has served as CFO since 2005. Robertson is involved in many industry organizations, including IREM and NAIOP. She is also a strong supporter of arts in education, holding leadership positions in organizations such as Young Audiences and the Regional Arts & Culture Council. More >
